Metric 1
Connections
Every relationship starts with a moment of connection. This metric is the number of people you have connected with. That connection can be any interaction — having a coffee chat, sending an acknowledgement or checking in with someone over email or text, meeting someone at an event, and so on. If you give a talk or lead a complimentary workshop, you can count everyone in attendance as a connection, or you can choose to only include the people you speak directly with afterwards — it's up to you.
Metric 2
Invitations
This is the number of people you have personally invited to have a coaching conversation with you. Invitations include clear context that you are a coach and that the invitation is into a coaching conversation — not a social or casual chat. This is distinct from a connection: you are explicitly opening the door to coaching.
Metric 3
Coaching
Coaching is highly personal — no two clients or coaches are the same. These sessions are a way for you to see whether and how you can help prospective clients, and to give them an experience of working with you. This metric is the number of people you've coached, excluding current clients. These conversations are where the possibility of enrollment lives.
Metric 4
Proposals
The number of proposals you've made. A proposal is a live conversation where you and a potential client discuss or co-create how you might work together. It is not a document or write-up sent over email, text, or voice note. The proposal happens in the room — or on the call.
Metric 5
Dollar Amount of Proposals
The total dollar amount of the proposals you've made. Any time you make a proposal to work with a client in any paid capacity, you count the highest amount that you proposed to them. For example: if you offered two options — 6 months for $3,000 and 12 months for $5,500 — you would track $5,500 as the amount proposed. Always track the highest offer.
Metric 6
Billings
The total dollar amount of the yeses you've received to coaching together in a paid capacity. If you receive a "yes" to a $3,000 proposal, you count $3,000 — whether you are receiving payment in full or over a monthly payment plan. This metric is not about when you receive the money. If a client is paying through a payment plan, count the full dollar value of the agreement in the month they say yes, and do not count future payments.
Your Bell Notifications
Everything that fires in the bell is automatic — no setup required. Here's exactly what triggers each one and when.
Follow-Up Reminders
Activity Log
When you log an Invite or Connect Call, the system automatically queues three follow-up touchpoints. Value Touch fires at 3 days, Check-In at 14 days, and Re-Invite at 30 days. Discovery, Enrollment, and Proposal calls are managed through your Prospects page instead. You can turn follow-up notifications off in Settings.
Prospect Follow-Up Date
Prospects
When you set a confirmed call date on a prospect card, the bell fires within 3 days of that date — before and after. If the date has passed and you haven't updated them, it turns red.
Prospect Awaiting Response
Prospects
When you mark a prospect as "Awaiting Response," the bell fires after 3 days if they still haven't responded and no confirmed call date has been set. Goes red after 5 days.
Referral Thank-You
Prospects
When a Gifted Call is logged and a referral source is recorded, the bell fires 2–5 days later reminding you to thank whoever made the introduction.
Not Yet — Reconnect
Prospects
Every 60 days after someone is moved to "Not Yet," the bell fires reminding you to check in. A lot can change in two months. The notification resets on each cycle so it keeps firing every 60 days until they convert or are removed.
Client Engagement Ending
Clients
When a client's end date is within 30 days, the bell fires. It goes amber at 14 days and red at 7 days. Gives you time to have the renewal or next-steps conversation before the engagement closes.
Alumni Check-In
Clients
Every 75 days (roughly 2.5 months) after a client's engagement ends, the bell fires with a check-in reminder. It fires within a 7-day window around each 75-day mark so you don't miss it. Keeps past clients warm without you having to track it manually.
Birthdays & Key Dates
Key Dates
Birthdays fire 7 days out and again on the day. Key Dates (anniversaries, milestones, launch dates, etc.) fire 3 days out and on the day. Recurring dates automatically roll over each year. Add them in the Key Dates section or directly on a client profile.
Custom Reminders
Bell Icon
Set any reminder you want from the bell icon at the top right. Pick a date and time, write what it's for, and it fires on that day. Stays in the bell for 7 days after firing so you don't miss it.
